Cohort 1

Cohort 1 is a group course. You work through the material with a small peer group, meet for live sessions, and bring questions from your own shop or department.

The first sprint covers financial management for healthcare technology: how budgets are built, how to rank capital requests, how to compare repair against replacement, and how to put a business case in front of a finance partner.

What you get

  • Short modules you can finish between work orders.
  • Live sessions with recordings, so you can catch up if a shift gets in the way.
  • Readings and worksheets, each with a plain-text version for screen readers and phones.
  • Peer-group prompts, where the group argues the scenario before anyone writes the answer.
  • A self-assessment at the start and another at the close of the sprint, so you can lay one next to the other and see what changed.

How it works

Cohort 1 opens with a kickoff week: orientation, peer groups formed, and the first self-assessment. The sprint follows. The schedule, session dates, and join links are inside the course. The join link for each live session is also sent to you by email before the session.

Recordings are posted in the course when they are ready, and they are for members only.

Who it is for

Cohort 1 is for enrolled members. If you are enrolled, log in and open the cohort in your course list. Questions for the facilitator go in the course forum, so the answer helps the whole group.
